Poppy (she/her) is a West Midlands storyteller, book lover and artist. She has been an active member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators for over ten years and has a degree in Illustration from Birmingham City University. 

She is proud to have received an Honorary Mention in SCBWI’s Undiscovered Voices 2022.

When not writing and illustrating Poppy is an art technician at a sixth form college, where she runs an LGBTQIA+ bookclub, as well as working as a freelance artist and consulting artist (much like Sherlock Holmes is a consulting detective, but with more paint and pencils, and way less opium).
